Hi, I'm a white witch which means I grow quite a lot of herbs and plants (if i can manage!) but they always seem to die, I water them every day and keep them in sunlight, but they end up going brown and the leaves curl up. What am I doing wrong!!!

If you water the foliage and then leave the plants in sunlight then they will scorch as the droplets magnify the sunlight. Try watering the compost and or spraying the foliage with a fine mist and allowing to dry out of sunlight. As a white witch you should know that the optimum time for planting herbs is at the full moon.
make sure that the watering is appropriate to the plant. many herbs are mediterranean plants and dont like to be waterlogged. Many of the more witchy plants like henbane, mandragora and comfrey prefer shade not direct sun.....you need to take account of each plants wants.
It sounds as if you are buying supermarket herbs grown in pots. Herbs always do better planted outside, they don't like rich soil and most of them don't like being too wet. You can put the supermarklet ones outside ( but not at the moment - it's too cold) I buy them all when there reduced and a bit dead looking, shove them in the garden and away they go.
should not put plants with delicate foliage in direct sunlight - too intense for them.
