How long did it take for Foyle's Sergeant to grow a new leg?
I'm watching an early episode and he's on crutches - but in later episodes he can jump in and out of cars and walk up and down stairs quite normally.....it's usually accents that they forget.

He gets fitted with a tin leg. I can’t find the film I want on youtube...it shows ww2 vets, double amputees running and play fighting. they are wearing shorts and have pylon artificial legs. Not saying that’s the intention on Foyle’s War but is definitely possible

I know the one you mean, he says in this early episode that he has a "Desoutter" tin leg, but in subsequent episodes you see him walking up and down stairs normally and everything else - not something you can do with a modern prosthetic, let alone a 1940 one...
