The Most Painful Thing Ever
12 Answers
I passed a hard stool over 2 months ago, and had immediate bleeding. I guess it's a fissure cos now whenever I go, it is absolute agony, and the tear (I think) is being re-opened all the time. I went to the loo early this morning and am still in agony from going. I have some uni-roid ointment which I've just started using (no help yet) and lactulose which hasn't made much of a difference. I wondered whether anyone else has had this, and what they did to make it go away, as I'm climbing the walls!

So she prescribed me the ointment and some laxatives which I haven't taken yet as I was hoping the lactulose would help (as I have ulcerative colitis I have to be a bit careful). But I am definitely going to get her to have a look as soon as possible!!
