Thankfully, not everyone is racially minded. It just shows how people of all cultures, religions and ethnicity can work together. I hope the young lad makes a full and speedy recovery.

End of what Cassa? Your thought process capabilities ? This was clearly meant to spread a positive message but is once again being made divisive by people who seem to live for just that. Anything genuinely new or different seems to get dispensed of pretty quickly. Maybe that's why there is another thread currently on the go asking why AB is dying out?

choux - //Your implied suggestion that I have not an ounce of humanity? //
First of all, I state, I don't imply, and second of all, you appear to have misunderstood what I said, which was -
"I don't believe that anyone with an ounce of humanity is going to look at the scenario in front of them - a child dying - and work out the racial mix of helpers before deciding whether or not to pitch in."
That clearly refers to the individuals who were present when the action took place - it has nothing at all to do with analysis of the scenario on the grounds of ethnicity which you did when you posted your link.
I believe your analysis is incorrect, but that doesn't mean that I think you have no humanity.
I hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

I think what has caused some people to query your post is this section.........
//Thankfully, not everyone is racially minded.//
Obviously you thought it needed to be included, many of us didn't see that need.
I saw a crowd of people working as one to save a life or further injury and for that I thank you for posting it.
In the main people are good and caring and this is a fine example.

ahughes, you wrote:

I would suggest that - apart from choux - no-one has looked at this image and pondered for a second the ethnicity of the participants, or seen any significance in it."
QED, no misunderstanding there.

choux - If you want to take sections of my most and make it say something it doesn't in order to bolster your perception that I have accused you of having no humanity, then you are wrong.
I have made my point, and explained it - the ethnicity of the people who helped this child is irrelevant, no-one pitched in to be inclusive, they did it to save a child's life.
others have made the point I made, if you prefer not to agree, then fine, but please don't distort what I said in order further to misunderstand the point I made, and make it a personal slight against you.

choux - Because you missed this out -
// Of course, that is utter nonsense, people are human, and want to help if they can, so they do, without thinking.
So the notion that this is some sort of United Nations of spontaneous abandonment of racial differences in order to come together for the good of a child is even bigger nonsense. //
That clearly explains that my point is that people will help if they can, and they don't bother looking at the skill colour of anyone else involved.
So the idea that this is 'inclusivity' was, is, and remains a nonsense.
Hope that's cleared things up.
