I'm not sure what you mean by 'again' as this is just the 2015 issue that has been in the news before and is now just reaching an important stage.
This one is not about fiddling expenses by claiming for duck ponds or switching of second homes or paying friends and family to do non-jobs - it's about seeking to gain an advantage by spending more than the allowed amount on election expenses (posters, leaflets, events...) and then disguising some expenditure to make it look as if the limit wasn't exceeded.

Peter...if these people have broken the law, then they should face the consequences. The passage of time has nothing to do with it.

If the CPS has sufficient evidence to prosecute they should, if they dont they should not.

As in every other case they review.
