I think you have been given good, if unpalatable, advice. I have taken some time, since returning to UK, to find a dentist. Sod's Law says I broke a canine tooth last week, and have had to find a dentist. I am not looking forward to my visit on Thursday (going on holiday to Scotland on Sat. - no wifi, don't expect replies). I don't know what will be offered. Same tooth was rebuilt 10 years ago, but there is only the tiniest rim now. :( If I have time I will let you know suggestions. They are all likely to be a) expensive b)expensive and c) uncomfortable and time-consuming(to say the least). Stiff upper lip, eh!
