I've been invited to a Centenary Service at Manchester Cathedral on Monday 15th May. It's in honour of Broughton House Home for disabled ex-servicemen, to celebrate their centenary. HRH The Duke of York will be the main guest. I'm really looking forward to this. Broughton House is a fantastic place and cares for all ex military people. Our golf club supports them with generous donations each year and I have the honour of representing our club, whilst at the same time remembering why we do so.

The Cathedral is impressive too, am sure it will be wonderful and moving.
Nice post, 10C.....because I'm nosy I just had a look at Broughton House Home and some comments about it.....looks a really nice place to be if you're in need of care.....

As the daughter in law of a serviceman injured badly and treated very shabbily it's good to see things have improved.....

Enjoy your day.....Gx
