Open the BBC page, highlight the link and paste it to them,I must say it may not work in South Africa as I can't open links to some UK tv sites on my computer as I've not subscribed - I take it I've not paid TV licence to BBC or something
Don't think BBC "links" will post Shoes. But I think your pal can download the BBC iPlayer app and if it is on there watch it after signing up. Free to her, we pay :))
I meant to say I'm in Rep Of Ireland (why I don't pay TV Licence in UK)
With only limited exceptions (such as some news content), BBC programmes can't be viewed overseas because the BBC doesn't hold the international broadcasting rights to them.

To get any link to work, your friend would need to to direct her internet traffic via a proxy server (thus fooling the BBC's computers into believing that she's in the UK). She'd need something like this:
https://expat-shield.en.softonic.com/
Shoes the link you have been given is for Microsoft operating system XP. You pal will need to choose an app that is relevant to her operating system I am almost sure.
In the past, I have sent my friends in America BBC links, and they have been able to watch them OK, although not recently....it might be different now.
Your friend will not be able to watch any BBC links because they won`t work if she is outside of the UK. She could set up a VPN and then she will be able to access the BBC or she could look on Youtube.
Post her this link Shoes and have a look at it yourself.
