If I send an email and it comes back to me right away, then I know I've made the tiniest of errors in the address or that the address doesn't exist, then that's okay. If the email is returned as "undelivered" in about three days, as has happened, then summat else is wrong, but I don't need any explanation for that. But, if I send an ema and it doesn't come back, then I guess the recipient has got the email, but why O why doesn't then the recipient have the decency to reply? Are they arrogant, ignorant or what? I don't expect immediate response, but after a week, a month, even a year!...as has happened, then I wonder why I bother, but I'm only asking a specific question, not after money or anything like that, so why do these people - yes, I suppose you could call them erm, well, not exactly celebs, but they are "named" people; a singer/songwriter, a tv composer a scriptwriter, a radio producer/writer...or their agent - why can't they be bothered to answer for they must have received my email or it would have bounced right back to me, wouldn't it?...I'm sorry for my rant, but it's so frustrating. Ta muchly for reading this.

Maybe they receive hundreds of emails per day and just can't possibly get round to reading them all. Bit like writing to a "star" back in the day - never really expected a reply from Elvis.

when i had a non-web based email account my address was (EG) bednobs@lalaland
If someone were to write "frednobs@lalaland" it used to get delivered to a catchall account for that domain name. However, i never ever checked that one

even a minor celeb may have hundreds of followers on Twitter. Translate that into hundreds of people who might try to email them and you see the scale of the problem.
