Dead battery?

The obvious would be dead battery or faulty charger pack/lead. When the power button is pressed is there a feint flicker of any lights?
Possibly a motherboard crash, hold the power button down for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, remove battery and power plug and then press and hold power button for a few seconds, refit battery and plug power lead back in and try powering on again.
