Can anybody tell me which formula to insert:
£245 minus £100 plus 3.25%

=sum(245-100*3,25%)
Sorry I misread. Not quite sure how to get final total.

I want to subtract £100+3.25% from £245 .
It does not seem to like the £ sign ?
you don't need the £ sign and it can be done in the head quicker

100 plus 3,25% if that is where you want the interest taken = 103.25, the balance 141.75......

or if there is a charge of 3.25% on the 245 and then 100 deducted, that equates to £7.96 of interest and then throw in the hundred, the balance is £137.04
