Cheap last minute flight deals...
has anyone had any luck with this possibility? i ask because i was talking to a colleague the other day, and he reckons he´s been lucky a couple of times, by just booking a flight with ryanair about 12 hours before take off and got it really cheap.
I ´ve never had any luck with lastminute.com. maybe its because thats what you have to do on a regular basis, until you get lucky.

I heard the people behind me on the aircraft say they booked a week before and paid £9.99. I was a bit hacked off. If an aircraft is empty the airlines do have "sales" and you could get a good deal but you`ve got to be quite flexible and it`s a bit risky if you want a long haul flight.
