Channel 4 Football Italia
3 Answers
Anyone know what the theme music was for Football Italia when it was on Channel four and where I can get a hold of a copy. It started with an Italian saying something like "goaaal Lazio", probably not Lazio but that's what it sounded like. The programme said it was released on single but I could never find it.

The track is called "I'm Stronger Now" and it was recorded on DeConstruction Records by a band called Definitive Two in 1992. I got a 12" promo copy of it at the time (I'm a club DJ) and have recently been looking among my thouands of old records in the attic as I'd love to drop it into a set again to see how many people remember it! I've searched for it in vain on a few download sites so if you happen to find it somewhere on the web, let me know!!
PS I think the bloke screams "golaccio" or "golazzo"; this apparently means a match loaded with goals and you don't get too many of them in Serie A!!
