People who like to give the impression they’re educated but nevertheless make the same grammatical and spelling errors time and time again, so not typos, irritate me, as do the big heads who can’t resist telling others their English is not up to scratch. I am irritated when I make grammatical and spelling errors.

When reading posts I tend to ignore them unless they are rants which are written in haste and are generally misjudged or make the post incomprehensible.

I just wrote a message on fb about a moving video clip I'd watched. I put, " it brought a year to my eyes" Even though I definitely put tear! So sometimes could be predictive text. Doesn't bother me if some doesn't get spellings right all the time though.....
