This is a bit vague, in the late 90s I saw a video and later had the song on tape, now lost. the song had a very gentle rhythm and the man singing was walking through woods, it was a very nice tune and am desperate to find out what it was... a bit of a long shot I know bu someone may remember...

both good suggstions but not right unfortunately. Julian Lennon has the closest singing style in saltwater. The guy was dressed in a long black coat, I think 30's, dark curly hair, not quite shoulder length. He was singing in a way that made actually hearing what he was saying very difficult.... thanx for the suggestion, maybe I'll jog a memory, with this further vague ramble.....
