Everyone has a right to protest. Unsure why some feel threatened by it.
No one is allowed to initiate industrial action without a genuine grievance and being able to tick all the right boxes.

Maybe the Far-Left has, but it is know that Far-Right protests have been banned at times.

Labour is still quite a bit off seizing power through the ballot box, it will be difficult to promise more and some who wanted to give May a bloody nose may change in another election having seen things like this.

And that is why McDonnell wants to seize power rather than win it. From what he has said he condones violence, calling people 'freedom fighters' and he will stop at nothing to achieve his aim of a Marxist Britain.

Unfortunately the young have not lived through a hard left labour Government. They will learn but it will be painful for us.

The big problem with people like McDonnell is once in they change the law to prevent them being removed. We may turn into a turkey in more ways than one.

Everyone has a right to PEACEFUL protest. People are threatened by it because every time the left dont get their own way they resort to violence.

Insurrection:
an act or instance of rising in revolt, rebellion, or resistance against civil authority or an established government.

Everyone does NOT have the right to do that.

OG, McDonnell's intentions are quite clear. He says that the left can only win power by resorting to industrial action and 'insurrection'. He wants to 'engineer' the government's downfall. 'Engineering' is not protesting.

Protesting can be part of his engineering plan, assuming it's not all bluster. But whatever he suggests has to be within the law. Industrial action included. Some folk worry too much.

It's not going to need any 'action' other than the 2 main parties carrying on exactly as they are doing !
In the next election there will be a Labour landslide ! even the most ardent Conservatives now know it is inevitable!
The Tories only hope is to throw May out without giving her a chance to resign! and put someone like Boris in her place!

If there is a labour landslide, 6 months later there will be another election due to the country being on its knees.
