74 has been discussed at length ( eg may begin with Manchester) before without anything really promising coming out of it. However I note that there is now an extra two letter word an/on/it?) at the end of the answer. We still aren't sure if the word steak should be speak.
Some of the answers are obscure album tracks so 74 may be the same
Your Answer...49 must be to do with crackers, sledge or sleigh. Sleigh ride together sorts of works although I don't that is the title and it doesn't explain the 'act' part of the clue. SLEDGE HAMmer has some of the ingridients (sledge + ham or hammer for acor an act)t) but doesn't explain the 'close with each other'- unless it just means the two words are so close they are joined together as one- ie sledgehammer.
Yes, it works if act=ride (riding is an act I suppose) but the answers are supposed to be song titles and not just lyrics. But maybe someone has used that as a title in one version. Sledgehammer is equally good in my opinion. Tossa coi maybe. or maybe neither is right. It's a tough quiz
