The weather turned for the best here, the wind has returned but it's been a good drying day, a steady easy day for me today & all jobs completed.

Out to work, home, picked granddaughter up from nursery, now a glass of wine, tea on.

Very good Ta, enjoyed the sun, kept out the rain then enjoyed the sun again, very little done, but wasn't a lot needed doing anyway, thinking about cutting grass, but that'll keep

A balmy afternoon here, relaxing in the sun room with a campari and soda. Gotta get up soon to start the dinner.

Not so good. Had to cancel holiday. Son in financial peril again. Wife broke her foot. Boy do I realise that wealth is health.

End of July!!! I may have to go back as my Aunt really is not coping and my cousins are at their wits end!

That's right gness. Homes out there cost a fortune and my cousin, Yvonne has a high demanding job as an attorney as well as a family.

Busy day. Sorted loads of stuff for car boot on Saturday, car packed to top.
Dealt with today's post. Boiler guarantee and service renewal came. Gone up from £168 to £340. They offered £20 reduction I told them what to do with their cover.
Magazine subscription renewal came, up by £10 pound.
Phoned and complained, they put it back to last years price so good job done there.
Collected twins plus two others from school. Their mum has organised a country dancing festival for about 28 schools in the forest. So I took them all over to the field where it was taking place.
Then home to sort dinner.
