Reading Messalina's post about Kompo reminded me of our family cure all medecine.....
Guinness mixed with milk and sugar to a froth....to make us grow....well that didn't work....
Malt and cod liver oil........stuck to the roof of your mouth....
But the one I hated was Brooklax.....my mum made us eat a square once a day.....I would go into the dining room....climb on the windowsill and spit it out of the top window.....
Until the day the wind caught it and mum came in to see the sticky chocolatey mess sliding down the outside of the window...... :-(
