What's Going On?

For no obvious reason I have been getting logged off AB when I leave the site for the past couple of days.

I have not tinkered in anyway but confess to having dropped my iPad and it seems to be since then that this anomaly occurs.

Any suggestions?

Safari isn't retaining cookies (and/or passwords) for some reason

1. Check that you're not in 'Private' mode. (Open Safari, tap on the multiple tabs icon [furthest to right], and make sure 'Private' is not highlighted)

2. Go to Settings > Safari > Passwords & Autofill and ensure that 'Remember Passwords' is selected.

1 again (although, obviously, you're seeking to turn Private Browsing 'off', not 'on' if that's what's actually required):

2 again. (The 'Always Allow' option was only introduced from iOS7 but, with any version of iOS, you still need to check that 'Names & Passwords' is 'On'):

In which case it could be that AB's server isn't always 'seeing' the cookies sent by Safari. I've been getting quite a lot of 'timed out' messages on AB today, so it does seem that AB's servers might be playing up.

My lappy and ipad are fine, they don't log me out ... then again I don't look at naughty stuff in 'private' mode.

HaHa I don't need to browse in private. The lads have used my computer enough without clearing the history :-)
