Do you still buy your food shopping at one main shop, or do you go to multiple shops for your weekly food?

I have Aldi and Lidl near work, for fish, some meat and veg...depends what looks good, along with a big pet shop for pet food.
Near home I've got Iceland and Co-op for odd bits...
...a little pound-type shop for rubbish sacks, doggy bags etc.
And when I go into town, it's to Tesco,Sainsbury's, and M&S plus another pound type shop that has cheap cleaning products. I shop according to that days whims. I usually do several days shopping at a time, and any of the above shops are adequate for my needs. There is a butcher I go to but only occasionally. There's a few fishmongers in the market but they are rather pricey. Oh, and there are also several ethnic shops for Asian and eastern European goods.
I suppose I go to so many different places because I don't drive, so little and often is a necessity.

We did that up to the 70's jackdaw, I remember leaving the milk outside in the winter in a saucepan of cold water to keep it cool overnight, that's if there was any left of course, all food then was bought from small retailers daily, we never had supermarkets, first time we seen one was a visit over to our aunt in Milton Keynes
We never had a Co-op,a van came around with a big tannoy speaker on it, they called out that it was fresh fish/eggs or whatever and we'd all rush out, see what was in it, we were just kids, when the guy was leaving we'd jump on the back of his van, something like a bedford I'd say, big step at the back and we'd dare each other to hold on, wouldn't happen now. Somehow, I don't know how, but my Mam was always able to pull a few extra pounds from her housecoat, we also had a lauderette/laundry van calling. Our estate was new so we loved all this activity, before that we lived on a military Married Quarters, dad just brought food home, anything else, I was too young to know where it came from, I loved the new housing estate though
