for a pelmet track measuring 82"-86" long (would like it to extendable).

This is a sort of example.

Went to cupple of shops and they are saying they no longer do the ones that bend at each end.

the track you know how it bends towards the wall - they are no longer doing them in the stores well Dunelm and Harry Corry's

Thank goodness you weren't after the pelmet!

Have you tried the likes of Sanderson, curtains and associated ephemera are their stock in trade.

thanks Twix - they are the ones - and I am just left that particular Dunelm yesterday. I had asked before and they told me that they didn't have one.

I would say they didn't know what I was talking about. So here goes on my way some day today

measuring

71"-118"

47" -83"

my Polish guy mesured them in a straight row to be about 82"

what shall I buy

I'd go for the 71" - 118" inch

Go for the larger one as you don't have accurate measurements!

well ordered the bigger one - ie track rail


have extremely heavy curtains to be ironed. I washed them myself.

So will leave them to cleaners for ironing tomorrow.

Then the new frill will be up too.

The polish guy has now informed me he is ready for work and "could have done my living room" after all.

Well sorry Polly - all is done - just two ceilings and of course other bits and bobs.
