What The Factors That Easily Help People Get Famous?

A lot of hard-working talented people don't get famous, - though some do. The two most important factors are, what is now called, 'networking' i.e. getting to know the right people, who of course have to like you and being in the right place at the right time; you can arrange this so far, but largely it's a matter of luck, which I wish you the best of :o)

People can be famous these days for no discernible reason whatsoever.....Andy Warhol was right after all.

I don’t think Andy Warhol was right at all. Most people are born, live their lives, and die without ever achieving their fifteen minutes of fame. Talent, of course, counts, but getting it recognised on its own merits requires enormous effort and is far from easy. I do think there’s a lot of truth in the old adage, ‘It’s not what you know, but who you know’. Think of the Beckham boy who has recently had a book of his mediocre photography published. The chances are if he wasn’t a Beckham, his book would never have seen light of day. Similarly with those connected to other well-known people – Pippa Middleton for example – or Sarah Ferguson – both of whom have had books published but only because they are connected to prominent people. Some, from the moment they’re born, have a foot on the stairway to success.

Applying to appear on a TV reality show sometimes does the trick. That doesn't seem to take a lot of talent.

It used to be that people were famous for something, now it seems fame is the thing some are famous for. Maybe fame needs adding to the school curriculum.
