Another Week Of "life" At Least For Charlie Before Judge Makes His Decision.

lets hope that someone makes a decision soon, whether to treat him in US or to let him pass away peacefully, its an agonising decision whichever way you look at it.

The judge has said he will make his decision on 25th July em, after further hearings this week. I was firmly of the opinion that letting him go was the best for him rather than the "living death" that is his lot at the moment. But I will be very interested to hear if the judge has heard anything to change his mind that could give hope for Charlie.

wouldn't it be marvellous, though highly unlikely his treatment in US can go ahead and is a success.

I've heard that it's the treatment which only has a 10% success rate, which means the wee soul won't have his condition improved by 10%.

I think the time came to let him go has been and gone.

Sounds harsh, I know, so am sorry if that comment upsets folk.

Alba, I read that once the POTUS got involved the 10% went up to 50%!! Even then it would only be a small part of him that wold improve. Also, the American specialist involved was asked for help over a month ago, by GOSH, and GOSH never received a reply. Only when Trump asked him did he agree to come. I truly hope this specialist is coming to see Charlie for the right reasons.

I agree with your 2nd para Alba, sadly, and have said so before on here. The judge is doing the right thing though I think and I have faith he will come to the right decision. Hope for the little boy's sake I am not proved wrong.

They say he's not in pain so they can take time making their decisions. I don't really have an opinion as I understand both sides...but as long as he's not in pain.
