They are having a charity open day tomorrow (Sunday) looks behind the scenes, trial flights and visits from some big planes. Could be a good day, weather permitting. Might give it a go.

Well we did go. Never seen so many people, thousands of them. Not a great deal to see apart from about 20 helicopters giving rides for about £65 for 5 minutes.
There was a flypast by two spitfires.
The black clouds were about, we could see Gloucester getting it. We had just got in the car when the heavens opened. Real torrential stuff. Some roads home were partly flooded. It stopped when we got home so stayed dry all round.
