Monday.wall to wall cloud again. becoming normal isn't it! I think we ought to pull up the anchor and tow the country down to the tropics. That would do me nicely. :o}

Guests here for lunch again today. A friend from the hospice and her husband. They've been before, so I must be doing something right...or they are completely insane! :o} Apart from that I've got nothing to do.

I met queenie, her other half and her dad yesterday. Three of the nicest people I know. We had a good old chinwag over a coffee. It was hammering down when I left here, the windscreen wipers could barely cope, about halfway there the rain stopped like turning off a tap, a line across the road, one side wet, the other side dry, apart from tyre tracks of course. I haven't seen that since Malaya, where it's a common occurrence.

'morning, lot cooler today, had to put a blanket back on the beds last night.
Tash is out for a run with the dogs in tow, first times for them for ages, it's been too hot, and I' domestic bits and pieces as usual.

Bit overcast and pleasantly cool atm, Tash back from her run with the dogs, so sorting coffees and food, normality sets in again ;o)
