I have read that this will no longer be available on the Times Crossword Club website after its revamp on Wed.
Anyone know how much it is to buy it in the newsagents (comes out on Thursdays i believe)
I think it's still £3.50 in the shops. The £75 for a year's digital subscription (you can print the crossword) looks the best value at £1.50 per issue (50 issues a year), plus access to the post-1994 archive. It's an odd decision as far as the Times Crossword Club revamp is concerned though. As far as I know there's been no ownership change, so maybe it's an attempt to sell extra copies to the TLS crossword addicts who aren't buying the paper.
The Times's crossword editor Richard Rogan has commented on the Crossword Club forum this morning that the TLS weren't happy in the first place with their crossword being on the Club site to non-subscribers.
Thanks CrikeyMoses... don't think I'll bother any more with it then ...£8.67 a month for the Times is already enough without another £6 just for 1 crossword more per week.
