hand it to 'em.
Recently back from an hour or so walking the dogs 'round the bay, It's raining, they said it would and it did.
Still warm though, was in a T-shirt and shorts, easy to dry out, and was quite comfortable, which is more than I can say for the dogs, think I'm off their Xmas Card List atm.
I miss having a dog but I don't miss having to go out when it is driving rain or snow and perishing. Even a short walk is awful. Both my dogs had a Lab-type coat and they had the 'wet dog' aroma until fully dried out.
My brolly nearly blew inside out on Richmond bridge this lunchtime. I was going to have something healthy to eat tonight but I want a pie now - it's that kind of weather
Watched Glorious Goodwood on tv yesterday and how i wished i were there. Watched Not So Glorious Goodwood today and wild horses wouldn't drag me there. It's been absolutely dissing it pown.
Despite being warned that we were in for apocalyptic storms with high winds, it has been glorious up here Baldric. Very warm. Fair enough it was a little breezy, but it was as warm as a hair drier.(Not that I use one you understand). Did my walk on the Prom, clear blue sky, but now and again a few seconds of rain would just pass over out of the clear sky. Someone must be getting a pasting I would think.
