I realised we had a tonne of mince in the freezer down in the cellar so I've got it all out and now I'm planning to make a mega hot chilli for tonight, a lasagne for tomorrow and a cottage pie for in the week.

What's cooking at yours this weekend?

another one to add to my 'to try' list. Thanks x

A mate gave me his recipe for king po chicken some months back, we've been having that once a week since then. It's lush!
see my lastest post in Food, NoM.......though I won't be cooking it.

I need read it and had a proper "eugh" moment...
I've got some boneless chicken breast...not sure what I'm doing with it yet. There will be avocado and pan fried cherry tomatoes ( my fav go-to veg) on the side.
I can recommend the Diet Coke sauce, I think it's from a slimming world recipe for diet cola chicken. I just checked, and I have a small bottle of Diet Coke in the cupboard, and some passata so that could be on the menu chez eth next week.
We will be having an m&s beef pie from one of their deals, with corn on the cob and some other kind of veg perhaps involving leeks, or maybe home made coleslaw.
Pasta, I made a scrumptious salad in the week with avocado, cherry toms, fried chicken, bacon and onions, red peppers, ribbon carrots and croutons, not a lettuce of any description anywhere near it.

Stuff it and wrap in pancetta, Pasta?
Oooh...do I have any pancetta lurking in the back of the fridge?

Eth...that sounds yummy, but I'd probably leave the carrot ribbons and croutons out. :-)
can me have lasagne please..loads of parmesan ! heavy on the garlic..... garlic bread will be most acceptable too..

It's a good job I've got my washer upper in the kitchen or I'd be fighting a losing battle!

I am looking forward to feeling movement thought. :-)
It is a lovely feeling especially at first when its just like butterfly's fluttering in your tummy. Also very special because only you can feel it. Hope you enjoyed your chilli x
Question Author
I did, thank you. I had enough ragu left from making the lasagne today to make a small chilli for the freezer x
