what apps have you got on there?
Question Author
i've got 41 in total, i could give you a list
Delete those you don't actually need.
Question Author
heres the list..android keyboard, android system webview, anti dog repellent, apps orange, assistant, calculator, callender, camera, chrome, clock, contacts, downloads, email, firefox, gallery, gmail, google, google play services, google play store, google text to speech, hangouts, maps, messaging, mi orange, music, networklocation, orange homescreen, pedometer, phone, photos, radio, ryaniar, settings, whatsapps, talkback, wps office, youtube. system update,
Is there a place in your settings where you can view which apps take up how much storage so you can see which are taking up the most room? Chances are software update is a big one.

Also check things like photos on your phone which you could download to a computer to save space, deleting old texts you don't need any more.
Eve, you have brought up something that hadn't occurred to me. I have a problem with storage on my iPhone, but I rarely delete messages.
Will do so in future.
Thanks.
Can you not move some apps over to your sd card?
Question Author
What's a SD card?
A Secure Digital Card is a memory card you can plug into most mobiles. But often the Operating System don't allow you to put apps on it, just data files. In answer to your question you can delete anything you don't use. You list seems a good start.
