Last week the North Koreans were said to have ICBM capability to reach The States but unlikely to have nuclear warheads. Today the White House says they have 60 nuclear warheads that could be missile-launched. None of the mainstream media have yet explained why or how the narrative has changed.

Eddie//USA and North Korea, Both have a petulant toddler with a bad haircut as their leader! //
(todder ?) They both maybe petulant and both have haircuts not to your taste, but Trump, unlike his predecessor, takes his responsibility to defend the USA seriously;

As a matter of fact it was Obama who souped up the US defences in the South Pacific, something Trump is now benefitting from.
And indeed, why shouldn't he. He just won't mention it :-)
God not that old fertiliser nonsense again.

Really!? I must have missed that.

Madeline Albright said she found "amazing" the pageant she watched in Pyongyang alongside North Korean leader Kim Jong II. We found it amazing, too, but not for the same reason. We were amazed that the Secretary of State would allow herself to be photographed, smiling as 100,000 essentially enslaved laborers performed for her and one of the world's most repressive dictators. Secretary Albright clinked champagne glasses with Mr. Kim; she found him to be "very decisive and practical and serious". But about the nation's 150,000 political prisoners she had no comment... her silence on this repression diminished US credibility, not only in North Korea but in less threatening countries where the administration chooses to speak, more openly, concerning human rights. - Wa Po editorial
Diplomacy seems to be winning the day, thanks God ::

After days of fiery rhetoric from both the US and North Korea, Mr Mattis said war would be "catastrophic" and that diplomacy was gaining results.
