Russian Toughest Prisons For Murderes

Many post in the past about punishment for murder has been brought up, whether it should be life or 15 years etc.

Tonight on BBC4, at 1.15am, it shows you how Russian justice is dished out, in a maximum security prison, just for murderes.

Its worth a look if you like this kind of thing, and contains stuff that might be upsetting for some, but not me :-)

the lastest figures here are 2011 but at that stage muder rates were coming down

No idea, but they never get released to do it again.

As for the effect on the Country, I have no idea, I was just letting you know about the programme, not getting into whether its a good or bad way.
