Poor Jiminy The Bush Cricket.

Every day for two weeks Jiminy my cricket has been sitting on top of a purple heuchera by the front door happily eating holes in the leaves......until today.....no sign of him.....

I've just moved the leaves for a better look and out jumped a fat and smug looking frog....who has probably just enjoyed afternoon tea.......

I'll keep searching but I fear Jiminy has gone........ :-(

Sadly, I also fear that the frog has had a decent meal. Look at it from the frog's point of view - he liked Jiminy, too (in a different sort of way of course). If you want to send frog to me, I guarantee I'm/her a diet rich in slugs - and I'll even provide a shallow water container. RIP Jiminy.
