I don't have an issue with investigation, and suspect 6 weeks of whatever he's doing to make everything neutral isn't going to have a long term affect; but I'm surprised at the conclusion he comes to in the article and wonder if he's interpreted his results correctly or superimposed his hoped for conclusion. Most things I read from parents talking about the subject is how they tried to treat the kids without encouraging them to conform to the expected, and they still went for/were interested in, the things that they are traditionally believed to be interested in.
