Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are Abrahamic religions. The major Abrahamic religions in chronological order of founding are Judaism in the 7th century BC, Christianity in the 1st century AD and Islam in the 7th century AD.

The greatest "stress" - in every sense of the word - comes from Islam which wants to eradicate by force the other two earlier religions.

It had been said that as Prophet Mohammad (in around 600 AD) was illiterate, the Quran was written hundreds of years after Prophet Mohammad’s death, mostly based on the Jewish Torah like:

• Friday is the Muslim’s day of rest; as to Jewish Saturday (Sabbath)

• Halal food; as to Jewish Kosher food

• Everlasting & eternal life in heaven or hell, after judgement day

People get annoyed at me when I tell them there is a huge gulf of difference between Religion and PRACTISING Bible believers.
That includes the Christian religion and Christ is NOT a member.
Because these are all world religions: christian, hindu, muslim, etc.
They are of the world and they conform or compromise with the world's systems.
Yes, they go to war with one another because that is the way of the world.
But we are told that the Ecumenical movement WILL be successful in bringing them all together under one banner in the very near future.
Why?
Because the questioner is right. There isn't that much difference between them.

All three religions were invented at different times, but in the same location.

I agree that they all have more in common, than they differ, but its the differences that people thrive on.

Even Christianity has dozens of various versions !
