andros certainly is a greek island but i fail to understand the clue. anyone elucidate?

More than likely Andros,will consult my Greek islands book,although it is spelt ANDHROS. it's all greek to me.

I have Andros too. When we stayed there a good few years ago we arrive late, hot and tired, and asked at the hotel/hostel for "the best restaurant" in town. We were sent back to the Bus Station where admittedly we had a perfectly good meal with wine for ~ �3.00 a head! Later we moved to the only beach resort we could find (one taverna) where we and about 10 other people shared reasonable accommodation plus the the sole use of a lovely stretch of beach. Certainly it was not a place that advertised for tourists.
