Thursday. Rain during the night, lots of cloud about now. Getting to be normal isn't it.

Tiggy is tucked up in Tiggy Towers. I think he's fed up with it too. We are told we can have an Indian summer in September and October. I'll believe it when it happen...if it happens!

Got to go over to Stroud today. :-/ Driving over the top on the common it looks lovely down in the valley, especially on a sunny day. Then you get down into it.

The closest I ever got was when both albas were very young and come time to put up the Minty-tree, they dug out their wee plastic toy soldiers and hid them so they could safe-guard anything Santa might bring.

I bought a length of green matting to replicate grass with them, so she could play inside. But they're too delicate for one so young at the moment x

What we take for granted as adults is quite scary, but for a child to see their first flock of geese flying overhead, for example, is wonderful.

Beautiful morning here, ideal for my purposes first I've got a load of washing to hang out then the grass to mow.
I have just changed Ann's support stockings that are required wear after after her operation, they are not an easy thing to put on but a lovely nurse at the hospital gave me some lessons before Ann was discharged.

morning Donny XX..OO..XX.. how is Ann doing ? exercises are a must post op... in a few months she'll be dancing !

She is doing all the exercises and is putting a brave face on things but when I catch her unexpectantly then I see the pain in her face. Since our main passion was walking then Ann thinks that this is all worthwhile if she can get up in the mountains somewhere. The Slovenian Alps are calling.

it will hurt for a while..make sure pain relief is taken..but you'll both get there ! xx
