Old TV adverts
10 Answers
Many years ago there was a very popular advert on TV featuring a bloke in a pub saying *Ive never known a night like it, & I'm not looking forward to yhe journey home* the joke was he was in a rowing boat on the park lake on a stormy night, The advert was for a brand of beer i think but my question is why can you find nothing about it anywhere on the web ? even you tube hav'nt got it but they seem to have every other ad from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Iv'e even tried advert agencies but with no luck but a fellow ABer told me that somebody on AB said that he had come accross it on an old video tape he was watching only a couple of months ago, so if that was you, do us a favour and bung it on you tube !!! or any other info about it would be great cheers...

it had all the usual hit ads. including the cadbury smash martians and cadbury's flake etc. but not a mention of the boating lake ad. considering how popular this cult ad was at the time I think their research department needs a kick up the backside.... but it still doesn't answer where is the bloke on here a little while back who reckons he had it on an old video tape ?.....
