I have every concern and sympathy with the inhabitants of Texas and surrounding areas, due to Tropical Storm Harvey.

But in many parts of the world, these kind of events are an everyday occurrence, and many, many people die every year.

So some here feel the floods in India are a way of controlling the world's population. Does that apply to the US floods too?

I am sure YMB didn't mean that, but its noticeable that the worlds media are flocking to America, while scant concern or interest is being shown for other human beings in other parts of the world, that are being effected by the same cause.
I heard on Auntie Beeb this morning that the floods had hit Bangladesh, North India and Nepal a MONTH ago.
Seems to me the media are now only mentioning that due to Harvey.
millions displaced and thousands dead in the 'sub-continent' imo should have made headlines before now.
