Hi spent far too long on this. Missing 3 I think, also mystified as to why Tora doesnt fit (I have it in row 5 but grid says t?s? ????
So anyway my 3 missing ones are:
Fencer's exclamation during duels - as always - unruffled when changing sides (2,2; 6). I have Sa Sa - for the 6 letter solution I have S???N?
Lavish pieces for franchise holders from choice of neighbouring countries (7; 5). I have Freemen and for 5 letters I have F???R?
Indian dishes with a taste of anise, somewhat removed from Spanish omelette, for a Japanese fighting dog (6;4) For 4 I had Tora but see above that doesn't seem to fit. For 6 I have T?A?IA

Thanks Mamyalynne! You couldn't help with the parsing of Flora and Tosa could you?
Tosa (Japanese fighting dog) - 'tad' (somewhat, from) 'tostada'

Sa sa & Freemen are correct.

Flora - (F(urstentum) L(iechtenstein) or A(ustria)

Thali-a(nise)
Sorry, I missed one but Mamya saw it :-)

Thanks Lie-In King. Got to say Flora parsing is obscure - and isn't Tostada a toast, and Tortilla an omelette? Still, all done but with much more reference to you guys than I'd like. I've no idea how you do this so quickly.
FLORA: France, Liechtenstein, and Austria aren't neighbouring countries. But if it were FLORE, with Spain instead of Austria, they would be.
T.. Indian dishes with a taste of anise, somewhat removed from Spanish omelette, for a Japanese fighting dog

THALIA, goddess
THALI, Indian dish + A(nise)

TOSA is a Japanese fighting dog, and fits with ORCUS, 4d.
I haven't parsed TOSA though
Sorry, didn't scroll down to see earlier answers
Surely tortilla is a Spanish omelette. Tostada is toast.
Sa sa is correct.
Tosa is a Japanese fighting dog.
Just saw this in LP, apologies miyake, I missed your response on Sunday.

To answer - RogerBear - I didn't mention France. "Fürstentum Liechtenstein" is the German (their official language) for "Principality of..." & they do neighbour Austria.

miyake & BobL - yes, I agree that "tostada" was iffy, but I couldn't & can't think of a better fit - I'd be more than happy to accept another omelette :-)
