Not Hurricane Season, no. It can be windy all year round and the sea is choppy, but we never saw any unpleasant weather. Indeed it was blisteringly hot.

off to Lincolnshire in 2 weeks looking at possible areas we may move to next year

Cape Verde islands are off the the NW coast of Africa, not a million miles away from the Canaries. It's not in a hurricane zone.

Had a lovely week in bonny Scotland and a long weekend on the Norfolk Broads, both were great.
