Thank you, Talbot. It was exactly what I wanted.
The "secret" was that one flight attendant has a counter behind her backto make sure tht the number of passengers matches the the number booked to fly
Why is the Express making a fuss about this "secret"? Of course the crew need to know the right number of people are on board.

Bet you're glad you didn't buy the paper for that breathtaking secret! Ha Ha
I've often seen cabin crew walk up / down the aisles with a click counter. Slow news day!
I wouldnt mind if they count out loud and point at us, just like they would on a coach. Happy to be counted on and off , non news.
Can I just add ... I'm not a reader of the paper.
your newsagent clicked a little counter when you bought one this morning, Talbot. You wouldn't have seen it, it's a trade secret.
That's news to me.
There was another little secret about a triangle on the cabin wall. I didn't understand what all that was about. Something to do with the flaps.
The triangles mark the spot of the leading and trailing edge of the flaps
What a boring, dreadful website that is!
That means nothing to me, 237. Is it something to be concerned about?
No, tilly. I didn't actually read the article. I got as far as crew with clickers and thought it was a load of bull so didn't go any further. The black triangle on the wall is just to indicate where the most important part of the wings are incase of something like there being ice on there
Thank you, 237.
