It's holiday time, Cassa and our delivery times are a bit hit and miss....though still daily.....
I'd be inclined to ask neighbours if their deliveries have changed.......x
// Just seems odd especially as I am waiting for the paperwork from the court about gaining possession and a money order. //
well you can wait and wait and wait
on the day 25th I think just go ahead and do what the order says you can.
You were there when it was made - and who is gonna challenge you?
I have reviewed the paper - we got judgement 15 Jan 15
the letter (CCJ judgement) 2 Feb 15 and filled out the form and sent the cheque (£60) for the sherriffs office 25 Feb 15
the debtor hid and didnt answer the door - and by July 2015
the sherriffs visits and fees had ballooned £500 to £2200
Cassa, are there empty houses near you? I had a problem a few years ago with expected important mail not arriving. Turned out the posty had been putting it in the empty house next door despite both being clearly numbered. Luckily another neighbour had a key and brought me the first lot....oh well i thought.....the second time it happened I asked the neighbour to check the house and sure enough there was more. I went to the local sorting office and got an apology and assurance that the man would be spoken to. The THIRD time. I made a formal complaint to Royal Mail and this stopped it.
yes I do!
You knew I did really....
know how long the courts take t do the paperwork
Miss "x" has just ploinged back into my life
she managed to clock up £20 000 and her hubbt £10 000 debts to other suckers and has applied for an IVA where she will pay back 10%
Just back from a lovely holiy to Oz paid for by her father
I did of course keep the commissioner in bankruptcy informed about all this
Hi cassa, having been reading of your tenancy problems over the last few months, and how underhand your tenants have been, I would check with the Post Office that they haven't set up either mail redirection or hold mail (Keepsafe) for your address, although these facilities would cost them.
How long is a piece of string. Depends on which Court. Trouble is, back office has been cut - it's taking weeks for basic orders to get sent out. The only way you are guaranteed to get an Order pdq is if Counsel drafts it and emails it directly to the Judge.
Seriously, you could be waiting another few weeks yet.
When I had to send the information I wanted to use for the eviction I had to send a copy to the court and the tenants at least two days before the hearing so wondering if they have to send me the info they want to rely on!!
