my family can remember seeing a film outtake. it was a closeup of a plane cockpit, in the second world war, with a sky backdrop. A shadow walks across the sky and the directors voice can be heard asking "who's that walking across my sky?" What was the film and who was the pilot?

Oh I remember that! Cant tell you the name of the film or actor sorry but I know its was in Dennis Norden's " It'll Be Alright On The Night".

Try this URL. You'll find it among the clips shown. Anyone else think it looks like William Franklyn, Possibly as the secret agent Peter Dallas in the ITV series "Top Secret", which was shown in two seasons in 1961 & 1962.
