I've got strips of sirloin to be fried with onions, courgettes and garlic, with tomatoes, pesto and creme fraiche, served with basmati rice.

No work tomorrow :0)

Egg, bacon and sausage butty is on the menu at the moment, but I may change my mind when I get home.
tagliatelle with bacon centres in strips now, baby mushrooms, halved cherry tomatoes, diced red onion, garlic and eggs chucked in, then finished with a little Italian parsley, parmesan shavings and truffle oil. Bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape with it.
Baked tatties with the usual + leftover bacon from earlier.
Bhajis, samosas, gobi aloo saag and a can of Guinness Draught
Pork chops slowed cooked in cider with a steamed green vegetable medley and mash.
Sadly no eels in shop, so its liver, onions, smash & brocs. Blackcurrent Cheesecake for desert.
A veggie dish - cheese and onion pie with broccoli and cheese sauce. Very filling and Mr. J2 is a suppressed veggie by instinct (likes beef well-done, I like it almost blue). I do a couple of veggie dishes every week and one that has just a modicum of meat e.g. Sunday will be 'Tartiflette' and that is also mainly spuds and cream with a bit of bacon..................oh, how I hate potatoes!!!
Sharon A try adding slices of Granny Smith apples and some cream.
I had a tin of M&S salmon and a salad.
I'm starving now.
Try a microwaved baked potato with butter! :)
