The Building Contractors That Built Stretford 1900 - 1960
Hello,
I would like to know who the building firms were, that built Stretford and surrounding districts from 1900 to 1960.
I have been told that Maunders Builders built the private house that I live in,
in the 1930's.
Over the road is a council estate that was built in the 1920's.
The area is Stretford, Trafford, Manchester, UK
Like all cities from 1900 onwards major house building was undertaken
for the population growth.
Sounds familiar !
