I don't see what the problem is with the op. It's clearly an ironic reference to the bad behaviour of travellers. The false lack of comprehension, and indignance at the childish language and rhyming slang that always ensues is way more annoying imo.

It's their culture dd!
"Had no idea that is a word that would be censored!"

Ah yes. The P-word (that rhymes with Mikey) has long been a banished phrase to denominate our Romany travelling friends. I remember Martin Brundle (Formula One commentator) using it a few years back. The track had been damaged by a crash and needed some tarmac to fill a few gouges and holes. The track authorities said it would take up to four hours. Martin said that few Mikeys would have the job done in ten minutes!

new career for mikey!
Mikey's busy at the mo so I'll say 'tar very much' on his behalf.
TTT - // Whenever there is post on here about travellers the usual suspects leap to their defence with the usual drivel, it's their culture, yada yada. //

Do you honestly think that anyone - never mind the 'usual suspects' whomever they may be - would defend these people, travellers or not?

Do you? Seriously?

If you did, then I'd love to see any mention on any thread where anyone on here has defended travellers who have behaved in an unacceptable manor, and anyone on here has ever said it is 'part of their culture'.

You can't make up perceived attitudes based on posts which have not been made, and then get all clever and ironic about it, and not expect to be challenged - as you have been, and rightly so in my view.
The forecast was for wind this evening.
Well said Andy.
What's an unacceptable manor? A place these fluffy bunnies avoid, perhaps?
Naomi - // What's an unacceptable manor? //

It's a typo caused by predictive text, which I missed.
Eccles // I agree to some extent with you Ludwig, but having to translate posts is just as tedious. //

Don't do it then - just ignore them. I have the same problem with another user, and I haven't bothered reading a single thing he's written in about 5 years. What I don't do is constantly harangue him for writing drivel because he's perfectly entitled to do so as long as it doesn't break the Site Rules.
ummmmm // I don't talk in his language and no one should be expected to learn and remember it. //

They're not. See above.
I've seen this thread and until now assumed it was something to do with soft toys. I as well aware of TTT's use of slang, but this one had me fooled.
Actually, I've been known to nag TTT at times about his incomprehensible mutterings - and I'm a Londoner - simply because his mutterings would interest me if only I could understand what he's talking about - but that said I really don't believe that anyone doesn't understand his reference to fluffy bunnies here.
When all's said and done it's not worth getting your Alans in a Brahms about.
Well you can put me on the list of those who don't understand.
I am aware of the P word that rhymes with mikey. I know the name Di**y Coy , but fluffy has me stumped. I assume the word must rhyme with bunny?
I wouldn't worry Eddie, seems it is aimed at those who have defended modern slavery and criminal behaviour in general by travellers in the past - obviously not worth linking to or it would have been done.

Seems the News section has finally imploded.
