This probably doesn't sound like much to most people but I walked over 10000 steps today, in January I was lucky if I walked 500!
I feel so blessed to have this new start.
Not a question but I know some of you are interested in my journey.

Before retiring I managed 10298! Today is a spa day so very little walking, may try to beat it tomorrow.
Maisie, I still have 6.5 stone to lose before I can start considering excess skin ops which should remove a further 1-2 stones.
I think you're very brave to share your journey with us and you have my utmost respect xx

Thanks alba I know there are a few people out there that are interested xx
A Canadian friend of mine underwent surgery regarding losing weight and the photos she has shared over the past 3 years have been incredible.
She has had extra surgery regarding the surplus skin but she told me it's all been worth it.
She's been scared on so many levels but I'm so thrilled for her that she is no so happy and confident and back to feeling like 'her old self'
if that makes any sense.

I do hope you are starting to feel like 'your old self'

(do hate the typed word at times) xxx

Alba I am, I always considered myself a confident person but hubby has said over the years since my weight took over that I have shrunk and was no longer outgoing and my 'normal' self! But it is coming back now thankfully and I can live life to the full!
xx
I think what you've achieved so far is absolutely incredible and you should be so proud of yourself x
