I am thinking of buying a new double mattress. Can anyone tell me of any firm that takes the old one away as part of the deal? I'm in East Sussex.

Try asking your local council. In Kent they collect three large items for £23.00 this way you are not limited to where you purchase from. Hope this helps.

Googling suggests most large companies will take away old beds or mattresses when delivering new.
