I think you'll find that Channel 4 pays for everything.....

Each 'dater' gets given £25 towards the meal/drinks. Anything over that they then have to pay for.

I've been to that actual restaurant they film it in. They use it a couple of times a week. £25 would pay for your main and that's it, so all the drinks, puddings, starters etc have to be paid for. Mind you, they're all kept in a 'holding pen' for an hour beforehand which does have free booze, which sort of explains why some of them come out with such outrageous comments when they first meet! Lol

I love the programme, I like to 'judge' which couples will or will not go onto a full blown relationship, I do like a good love story. :)
